{"id":496,"date":"2006-06-03T02:52:12","date_gmt":"2006-06-03T09:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mcslp.com\/?p=214"},"modified":"2006-06-03T02:52:12","modified_gmt":"2006-06-03T09:52:12","slug":"loca-2006-keynote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planet.mcb.guru\/?p=496","title":{"rendered":"LoCA 2006 Keynote"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As <a href=\"http:\/\/mcslp.com\/?p=209\">previously announced<\/a>, I presented the keynote at LoCA 2006. <\/p>\n<p>The keynote was on Google Maps and Google Earth, related to the new book which I just <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.mcslp.com\/?p=8\">announced<\/a> on the book&#8217;s new <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.mcslp.com\">companion<\/a> website. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d like to think that the presentation went well - we started late (due to Dublin traffic, the attendees had trouble getting in - my taxi, by comparison, got us there an hour early), but we finished even later as the questions and queries came thick and fast.
