{"id":432,"date":"2006-04-13T07:07:09","date_gmt":"2006-04-13T14:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.computerworld.com:\/\/1756bc0da946804d31acedef53d3f5fb"},"modified":"2006-04-13T07:07:09","modified_gmt":"2006-04-13T14:07:09","slug":"boot-camp-from-a-windows-user-perspective","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planet.mcb.guru\/?p=432","title":{"rendered":"Boot Camp from a Windows user perspective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scott Finnie has written a piece on Boot Camp, from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/mobiletopics\/mobile\/laptops\/story\/0,10801,110420,00.html\">perspective of a regular Windows user<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>As the subtitle says, he likes what he finds, but I have to provide my own comments to some of his summing at the end.<\/p>\n<p>First of all is this comment: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Microsoft's customizable Start menu is in every way the analog of OS X's Apple menu, but you can't customize the Apple menu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Apple menu in non-OS X Apple's was always customizable, but the one in OS X isn't without additional tools. Whether you think this is a good or bad thing depends on your point of view, but it isn't the <em>only<\/em> place for customization.
