{"id":420,"date":"2006-04-12T12:00:05","date_gmt":"2006-04-12T19:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.computerworld.com:\/\/74dc05a84ddbf32f5de3578723dbedcf"},"modified":"2006-04-12T12:00:05","modified_gmt":"2006-04-12T19:00:05","slug":"boot-camp-notes-from-the-front-and-back-line","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planet.mcb.guru\/?p=420","title":{"rendered":"Boot Camp: Notes from the front (and back) line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I've been using Boot Camp now for almost a week, and I apologize to those who have been waiting for my review since my original <a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/blogs\/node\/2193\">comment on the release<\/a> last week. <\/p>\n<p>A few key notes to begin with: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installation is very smooth and simple.<\/li>\n<li>Windows XP on an iMac works very nicely.<\/li>\n<li>It is unfortunately not without its problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Installation is straightforward enough, even if, as on my iMac Intel Core Duo, there isn't a huge amount of free space available. I was easily able to assign the 5GB (which I upped to 10GB) to install Windows XP.
